 Job Description 

Manage large amounts of incoming calls Develop and maintain office forms and procedures, and assist with administrative tasks Respond to all members’ requests, questions Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies Take the extra mile to engage customers Take up and implement other duties as assigned. Manages day to day accounting responsibilities including Accounts Payable/Receivable using QuickBooks Complies with all provincial and federal government reporting requirements Manages the timely payment of Accounts Payable Ensures the timely collections of Accounts Receivable Provides information to the external accountant who creates the company’s financial statements Maintains an orderly accounting filing system Accounting duties approximately 10 hours per week

  Job Requirements and Experience 
● Fluent in both English and Greek ● Familiarity with CRM systems and practices ● Proficient skills in computer accounting software (QuickBooks Desktop) and spreadsheets ● Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters● Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative ● Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening ● Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service approach ● Effective organizational and time management skills ● Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detail and accuracy to proactively identify problems and irregularities quickly ● Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and employment laws ● Excellent communication and presentation skills ● Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively 
Qualifications 
● Degree or diploma in accounting or related field preferred ● 2 years experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledgers, and Payroll preferred ● QuickBooks: minimum of 2 years preferred  We appreciate applicant interest in this position, however, due to the volume of submissions, the Greek Community of Toronto team will only contact candidates selected for an interview.
